With five offices in Canada (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and Sudbury), our client is a mid-sized brokerage and consulting firm with highly experienced leaders and an exceptional group of talented people.
To help support our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Client Executive in our Group Benefits division. Located in our Toronto office, this position will appeal to an experienced Consultant with deep sales and technical expertise and a desire to work with a team of sales and service professionals.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and will work with Senior Leadership and cross-functional teams to create a personal business development strategy and goals. In addition, as a senior subject matter expert, you’ll work with the service team to provide Consulting advice and support to a book of valued clients.
- In this role, you will be responsible for: Establishing are maintaining interdivisional and intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture.
- Generating sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
- Leading client engagements, including managing overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, business placement, benchmarking and other studies.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of carrier products and networks, cost management solutions and various funding mechanisms.
- Required Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of combined Employee Benefits experience in a consulting, brokerage or carrier sales/account management environment is required.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively coordinate the delivery of projects and advisory services.
- Ability to work effectively either on your own or in collaboration with others
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Package
- Active LLQP License or Willingness to immediately obtain
- Fluency in French and experience with EPIC are considered assets but are not required
