We’re looking for a passionate Game Designer who will drive the creation of groundbreaking gameplay systems and experiences for our upcoming mobile dance battle game. If you live and breathe mobile games, have a knack for intuitive design, and groove to the beat of creativity, we want to hear from you


Role Overview

As our Game Designer, you will design and implement an engaging user experience with innovative gameplay mechanics and social features that will be shared with millions of players. You’ll work closely with our small cross-disciplinary team to ensure our game delivers a uniquely fun, engaging and shareable experience to players worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

• Design Gameplay Systems: Develop engaging core game loops, mechanics, and progression systems, with a focus on social multiplayer experiences.

• Balance & Rhythm Integration: Collaborate with 3D animators, dancers and music professionals to create intuitive rhythm-based interactions and rewarding gameplay.

• Feature Development: Ideate, prototype, and refine game features that foster creativity, self-expression, and competition among players.

• Player Engagement: Design systems that promote community-building, social interactions, and live-ops events.

• User Experience: Ensure the player journey is intuitive, polished, and optimized for mobile touch interfaces.

• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with engineers, artists, animators, and product managers to bring your designs to life.

• Data-Driven Design: Analyze player feedback and behavior, using insights to iterate on designs and improve the player experience.


Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Game Designer, ideally working on mobile social games (casual, multiplayer, or competitive).

• A strong portfolio of shipped mobile titles showcasing your game design expertise.

• Proficiency in creating design documents, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Understanding of free-to-play mechanics, virtual currencies, player retention, and monetization strategies.

• Ability to balance creativity with technical and production constraints.

• Familiarity with Unity and various design tools.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

• Passion for music, dance, and rhythm-based games.


Bonus Skills

• Experience designing gameplay or features for dance, music, or rhythm-based games.

• Experience with social game design trends, 3D avatars, and player-generated content.

• An interest in cultural representation and storytelling through music and dance.

• Knowledge of scripting tools or light coding for prototyping..
