Project Coordinator, Electrical Service

As a leading construction and services contractor, we are involved in a number of projects and are looking to grow our team with the addition of a Project Coordinator, Electrical Service (On-Site) Co-op.


If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can proactively multi-task and manage multiple priorities and requests then this is the role for you. In this role you will be assigned to work with our team in the GTA, based out of our head office.


As a Project Coordinator, Electrical Service (On-Site) Co-op, you will:


  • Support the account executive, project manager, project team and field staff in any administrative project functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of time sheets and expenses for accuracy and submission.
  • Maintain/update document control logs for change notices, shop drawings, RFIs, close out documents, support invoicing and preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Update drawings/specifications based on change notices.
  • Track and update project schedules and labour as required.
  • Assist in performing QA inspections and activities.
  • Coordinate and log all HSE related items - inspections JHA's, GC requirements and Sub requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering Co-op Program.
  • Available for a 4, 8, 12 or 16 month co-op.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
