Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Intelligence Developer. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for tasks such as data modeling, creating dashboards, utilizing analytical skills, and working with our data engineers and integration team to optimize the way data is shaped in our data lake and data warehouse solutions. In particular, the Business Intelligence Developer should be skilled at tools like dbt, familiar with medallion architecture, and skilled at transforming and blending data into structures that are conducive to extracting meaningful business insights.


Qualifications

  • Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills
  • Strong command of SQL, and proven experience with designing and implementing dbt models
  • Excellent understanding of data structures and database management systems, such as, but not limited to, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and SQL Server
  • Practical knowledge of data science tools and programming languages such as R, Python, Spark, etc.
  • Comfortable using Tableau, PowerBI, and/or other data visualization tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tenacious attention to detail
  • A self-starter with a passion for continuous learning
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in related roles
  • Bonus points to candidates with industry experience in sports and entertainment ticketing data
