Richmond School District operates 37 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 22,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff.

We currently have a full-time temporary Grade 2/3 Montessori classroom position available for September 1, 2024 to July 14, 2025.

Interested applicants for this position should enjoy working in a collaborative, innovative and engaging educational setting that fosters creativity and well-being in inclusive learning environments. The successful candidate for this position must have current academic and professional preparation as well at Montessori teaching experience at the primary grade levels. As this position is temporary, it is posted with an end date of June 30, 2025 or until return of incumbent.

Garden City Elementary is on a balanced calendar with 3 weeks at the Winter and Spring Breaks and the school year end in mid-July.
