Holy Trinity Elementary is a Catholic School diligent in creating a Christ-centered environment and embrace the many dimensions of human growth: intellectual, physical, emotional, moral, and spiritual. JOB DESCRIPTION
Our wonderful elementary school in North Vancouver needs a part-time bookkeeper to join our school staff community. Although keeping the school books is the main focus for our bookkeeper, there are times when the office secretary is occupied, and you would be needed to answer the phone, help a parent, or hand out a Band-aid for a recess scrape. Our bookkeeper is an important part of our team, as we balance our budget, and work together for the success of our parish school. We are looking for someone to work two days per week throughout the school year, and a few days at the beginning and end of the school summer holidays. We like to have some fun, and find time to laugh together. The successful applicant will be a team player that has many of the skills listed below.

Computer Skills:
o Adept at using bookkeeping software - QuickBooks
o Prepare and produce spreadsheets in Excel
o Proficient in Word
o Ability to learn new programs
General Skills:
o Bookkeeping experience
o Ability to work independently
o Data entry skills
o Strong Organizational skills
o Attention to detail
o Proven ability to meet deadlines
Although the job start date is the week of June 25, ideally the successful applicant would start for training June 10, and work until July 12th, and return to work the week of August 19th.
