Industrial Mechanical Draughtsman

Hello, I'm Benjamin, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed ManuTech, a recruitment firm specializing in engineering and manufacturing. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. We cover all departments and all job levels.

Your duties :

We are looking for a Designer-Draftsman in industrial mechanics for a manufacturing company (clean and unionized environment) located in Sainte-Sophie. Immediate opening. Position 40 hours/week during the day 40 hours/week (over 4 or 5 days).

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :

- Design parts needed to improve or repair production machines.
- Produce layout drawings for new machines on site
- Participate in tasks carried out by mechanics (preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment upgrades).
- Make suggestions for optimizing machines or ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly.
- You will be involved in purchasing and ordering parts.
- Other related tasks

Your professional skills :

- Experience in drawing and designing industrial parts
- Mastery of AutoCad software
- You're a good communicator, who knows how to work as part of a team
- You know how to manage your priorities and are well-organized
We're looking for someone who enjoys participating in team problem-solving, is creative and organized.

Your profile :

- DEP or DEC in industrial mechanics or equivalent
- Proven experience with AutoCAD
-Salary: $34 - $39 per hour
-Permanent position 40h/week (choice of 4 or 5 days), minimum 2 weeks vacation, full insurance and RRSP.
