Elementary Teacher

2024-2025 school year

At St. Michael's Elementary School, the goal of our staff is to provide our students the ultimate learning experience in a nurturing and safe environment. By building strong relationships and trust, students are challenged to become passionate learners and develop into powerful thinkers, academically and spiritually. Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:

Commitment to Catholic Education

Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish

Successful teaching experience, primary years an asset

Have an understanding of the Early Learning Framework of BC

Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction

Ability to foster positive relationships with children and families, colleagues and administration

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively

Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters

As a condition of employment, successful candidates must complete Diocesan Safe Environment training and will be required to submit the following:

Photocopy of Canadian Birth Certificate or Canadian Passport (documentation to indicate you are legally entitled to work in Canada)
