Our WellStat product line is the most widely used commercial all-in-one air quality monitoring system, providing continuous, actionable data to improve occupant health and productivity.
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Building Automation & Energy Management Specialist to enhance IAQ and energy management strategies in commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will support our sales team, assist in platform implementation, and provide expertise in building automation technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Building Automation & Energy Management:
· Utilize expertise in BAS systems to enhance IAQ and energy efficiency strategies.
· Support the sales team in understanding and implementing WellStat's platform.
· Ensure smooth integration and adoption of automation solutions.
· Collaborate on industry best practices related to energy efficiency and automation.
Technical Support & Implementation:
· Provide technical insights and assistance during system implementation.
· Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and optimize automation solutions.
· Assist in developing training materials and documentation for system users.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
· Engage with senior leadership, clients, and internal teams to drive energy management initiatives.
· Assist in marketing efforts by ensuring job advertisements accurately reflect our services.
· Contribute to discussions on compensation structures and role expectations within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Building Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
· 1–3 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and commercial energy management.
· Knowledge of IAQ, demand response strategies, and automation platforms.
· Experience supporting sales teams and technical staff in solution implementation.
· Understanding of commercial real estate energy efficiency practices.
Skills:
· Strong understanding of BAS systems, HVAC controls, and energy monitoring platforms.
· Ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation solutions.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation
Pay in lieu of Benefits: 5% of salary
Pension/RRSP Match: up to 4% of salary
