*** ROTATIONAL - 8 WEEKS ON / 3 WEEKS OFF ***

  • Relevant Master's Degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant HSE experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HSE experience in the production/mining industry and/or relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in the construction environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Fully conversant with HSE procedures and documentation.
  • Implementation, overseeing and enforcement of the Company Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Program.
  • Monitoring all field activities including but not limited to (pre/commissioning, etc.) for HSE compliance.
  • Performing work area inspections/audits and follow up / close corrective actions.
  • Provide support to relevant site safety campaigns.
  • Reviewing, approving and/or providing job safety, hazard analysis, risk assessments (RA), field level risk assessments (FLRA) and work permits.
  • Participating and/or leading incident investigations to ensure that root causes are identified and corrective measures to prevent similar occurrence are implemented.
  • Prepare tasks and reporting required to assure compliance with the Laws, HSE regulations and Company Policy and Procedures.
  • Lead / support HSE committee, field HSE coaching, Visible Felt Leadership (VFL), HSE coaching, and participate in other meetings as required.
  • Ensure safety of HS Pre-Commissioning Group employees during their execution of job duties and provide labor conditions at each workplace in compliance with the labor protection requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements with relevant support from the subject matter experts.
  • Properly fulfill the Performance Improvement Plan approved by the immediate manager.
  • Lead and supervise the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team during the commissioning phase.
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure HSE integration in all commissioning activities.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on HSE performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.
  • Assist to develop and deliver HSE training programs tailored to commissioning activities.
  • Conduct site-specific inductions for all personnel involved in commissioning.
