About the Role
We are seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to champion Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving, and cultural transformation across our operations. This role will be instrumental in improving production reliability, safety, and efficiency by coaching frontline leaders, business improvement teams, and operational teams to embed best practices and a continuous improvement mindset.
As a key leader in the Operational Excellence team, you will:
- Coach and develop site leaders and improvement teams on problem-solving, waste elimination, and Kaizen through hands-on training and facilitation.
- Drive Lean adoption by integrating best practices into daily operations, ensuring sustainable performance improvements.
- Lead assessments and breakthrough projects to help teams identify and implement high-impact solutions for safer, more efficient production.
- Enhance training programs to upskill teams on Lean tools, PDCA cycles, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Be a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This position offers a unique opportunity for experienced automotive manufacturing, industrial operations, or maintenance leaders to apply their expertise in high-performance production systems and make a tangible impact.
What You Bring
- Strong background in operations, maintenance, or production leadership within automotive or other Lean-driven industries.
- Extensive experience in Operational Excellence, with deep knowledge of Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving, waste elimination, and Kaizen.
- A track record of leading cultural change, coaching teams, and embedding continuous improvement mindsets.
- Autonomous, hands-on, and results-driven, with a passion for safety and efficiency.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support sites and teams.
