Who we need?

We are seeking an Cybersecurity Lead with expertise in AWS, cloud security, and DevSecOps, capable of leading Red Team investigations, incident response, and building cross-team partnerships while ensuring compliance and security innovation.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Lead the strategy for security tooling, controls, policies including strict adherence to defined security and compliance requirements.
  • Own a Red Team Investigation service that provides a comprehensive offensive security capability including strategy for the ongoing development of people, tooling and process to foster a defensive security mindset.
  • Represent the organization during security incident response scenarios including leading cross team/organization remediation efforts. Articulating incident response status, potential risk and business impact to senior leadership. Managing the incorporation of security incident response actions into future security strategy.
  • Build strong partnerships with existent, related, service areas such as Global Information Security, Digital Risk Management and Digital Architecture.
  • Act as a security advocate across the organization and actively building strong partnerships with existent, related services areas including Global Information Security and Digital Risk Management.
  • Maintain awareness of security practices, themes and trends in the broader industry. Continuously evaluating new capabilities, providing recommendations and developing business cases for where investments should be made
  • Leverage industry best practice and experience to ensure that security is baked into deliverables from the start and that projects/programs fully embrace a DevSecOps and shift-left on security mentality
  • Be a champion of innovation within the immediate team and wider organization developing resources and processes to adopt innovative thinking and approach to security challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a cyber security lead or lead in a related discipline. Expert level knowledge of cloud security focused on AWS and credential management principles with an understanding of best practices and how to apply security & identity policies to accommodate a variety of business controls.
  • Extensive AWS experience owning, architecting and running large scale AWS platforms supporting multiple customers.
  • Experience of security first integration patterns, data modeling, cloud development, marketing automation, CI/CD practices, Microservice development, AWS development, container-based and serverless architectures.
  • Experience operating in a DevSecOps environment & managing a fully remote global team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner & influence resources outside of the immediate span of control.
  • Ability to lead in a complex, matrix environment with geographically distributed resources.
  • Good to have Recognized certification(s) such as CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or AWS certifications including and/or AWS Certified Security certification
  • Good to have Experience working within life-sciences or other highly regulated industry sector
  • Good to have Experience with multi-account/cloud deployments.
