Technical Talent Development Manager

Location: Edmonton, Canada – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) - We are open to candidates

who are willing to relocate (not paid)

Our client, a global leader in innovative software for the television industry, is seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Talent Development Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing technical talent and driving innovation across the company's Edmonton office.

What You'll Do

- Lead, mentor, and develop Agile software teams

- Provide regular 1:1 coaching, feedback, and support for career growth

- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to enhance team performance

- Drive continuous improvement in development processes

- Partner with HR to support Talent Development programs and systems

- Create reports, dashboards, and documentation for management

What You Bring

- Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

- 4+ years of leadership experience in a technical environment

- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills

- Ability to drive results and foster innovation in a dynamic setting

- Experience with change management and process improvements

Nice to Have

- Agile Leadership or Scrum certification

- Knowledge of best practices in the software development lifecycle
