Time Type:Full timeJob Family Group:SalesJob Description Summary: As a Territory Associate, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding pre-determined service expectations while selling product, merchandising and fulfilling route management objectives in order to drive volume and increase visibility of products in accounts.This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle to travel between client locations as an essential function of the role.Job Description:Responsibilities:Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales call on a pre-determined route (route schedule)Lead merchandising efforts in customer for all products, general distribution and promotions/programs.Develop effective business relationships with assigned customersProvide management with specific and current information on competitive activity, market challenges and merchandising opportunities.Execute sales driver objectivesWork with suppliers representatives and managers in the field to promote productsService and improve the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position and frequency, concept selling and price point managementPack out shelves, build and refresh displays, place POS and stock cold boxObtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of consumer programming and report trends to managementDesign and build creative displays to showcase brandsNegotiate display space at the secondary tier retail locationsContinual development of industry, channel, and brand knowledgeMaintain shelf schematic compliance and monitor stock levels of products in storeOther duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be requiredQualifications: Bachelor’s degree required1-2 years’ selling experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilitiesExcellent communication skills: verbal, listening and writtenDemonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skillExcellent Negotiation and Influencing SkillsStrong interpersonal and analytical skillsProficient MS Office skillsKnowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competitionThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
