Regional Territory Salesperson – Southwestern Ontario – Companion Vet Sales

MVP Talent Corp is a leading executive search agency matching top talent with distinguished clients. We are partnering with our client, an international leader in veterinary pharmaceuticals.

The salesperson will represent a full array of companion animal pharmaceuticals to veterinarians located in the Southwestern Ontario market including from greater London down to Lake St. Clair. This person should be located within a 30-minute drive from London, ON. This is a remote role with approximately 50% travel within the region.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Position to be within the identified territory (within a 30-minute commute from London, ON).
  • Candidates should have experience selling within the companion animal health industry or working as a technical practitioner in animal health with an aptitude and desire for sales.
  • Experience in developing and executing territory business plans, or, willing to learn same if coming from a previous non-sales role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the medical, operational, and business side of veterinary practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of selling to key opinion leaders in a specialty practice environment.
  • Strong analytical, technical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Exhibits a high-level of passion and self-motivation.
  • Candidate must enjoy/thrive working in a remote, unsupervised environment.
  • Solid understanding of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet established sales goals and manage expenses to budget.
  • Conduct veterinary clinic sales calls within the assigned territory (in person or virtually).
  • Organize and attend seminars, dinner programs, CE programs, etc. with targeted veterinarians.
  • Provide regular feedback to management as required.
  • Provide input/feedback to management on marketing programs, marketing materials.
  • Attending key national, regional & provincial veterinary conferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key veterinarians and opinion leaders.
  • Other duties as requested.
  • This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Candidates will work remotely as long as they are based within 30 minutes from London, ON. This is a permanent, full-time position.
