We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer and supplier of automotive comfort products. As a global provider of innovative wire forms and advanced seating solutions—including seat lumbar supports, suspension systems, bolster components, actuators, and heating & cooling elements—you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing hardware systems that enhance the comfort and functionality of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts
  • Designing and testing unique and complex multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
  • Developing or supporting custom product firmware in Altium/Orcad
  • Design and implement hardware solutions in alignment with ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) standards.
  • Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Conduct system-level testing and validation to confirm hardware performance meets quality and safety standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for hardware design processes, specifications, and testing protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, providing innovative solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in automotive hardware engineering.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 100% on site in Windsor, ON
  • Must have Canadian residency, PR or Open Work Permit
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Altium/Orcad
  • Experience with ASPICE methodologies and automotive hardware development.
  • Proficiency in hardware design and simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations.
