With exciting and rapid growth plans, we seek a district manager to oversee multiple restaurant locations for this new QSR brand, which is opening stores across Canada. This role is responsible for executing strategic visions, ensuring operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams. This position requires a seasoned leader who is agile, adaptable, and passionate about empowering others to drive growth and capability. The salary range is $75-85K plus bonus
Description
- Conduct regular restaurant visits to engage with teams and assess operational excellence.
- Own and execute assigned KPIs for the assigned region/area.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure timely resolution of any service issues.
- Optimize costs and labor through effective scheduling and inventory control.
- Ensure all locations operate at high standards, with a focus on guest service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales-building initiatives, evaluating their success.
- Support national promotional programs and implement localized marketing tactics.
- Manage assigned budget and labor expenses to maintain efficient operations.
- Analyze and report on key financial metrics such as sales, costs, and profitability.
- Collaborate with Restaurant Managers and leadership teams to address operational challenges and improve performance.
- Oversee the implementation of new processes, procedures, and initiatives.
- Assist managers in balancing profitability, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct financial, HR, and health & safety audits at each location.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a strong leadership pipeline within the assigned area.
- Ensure all team members meet training and certification requirements.
- Motivate and coach managers to drive successful restaurant operations.
- Role model company values in all interactions.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction, operations, and financial performance.
Requirements
- Some post-secondary education in hospitality, marketing, or business preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3-5 years of quick service or restaurant industry experience.
- 2-3 years of experience leading multiple restaurant locations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Enthusiastic, organized, flexible, and innovative.
- This role requires significant travel (minimum 75% of time spent visiting restaurant locations).
