Overview:
We are seeking an EMR Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic team and manage the onboarding process for our customers as they implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in customer onboarding, technical support, and project coordination. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience, managing technical aspects while also addressing client needs and ensuring alignment with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding of clients to the EMR system, ensuring timely and successful implementations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, guiding them through technical and procedural steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed client requirements and translate them into actionable project tasks.
- Use CRM software to track customer interactions and project progress.
- Leverage automation tools (such as Airtable) to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with technical teams to address any software-related issues and ensure proper integration with clients' existing systems.
- Apply Agile development methodologies to manage tasks, prioritize features, and track progress through sprints.
- Provide training and support to clients, ensuring they fully understand how to utilize the EMR system in their practice.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any client issues during the onboarding process, escalating to relevant teams when necessary.
- Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and ensure the client's expectations are met throughout the onboarding journey.
- Keep clients informed of project status, milestones, and next steps through clear, consistent communication.
- Continuously assess and improve onboarding processes to ensure client satisfaction and effective system implementation.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or a similar role.
- Experience in a technical support or customer service environment.
- Prior experience working with an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system is a must.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with CRM software to manage customer interactions.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Airtable.
- Understanding of the software development process, including Agile methodology.
- Experience with gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders.
- Ability to support the integration of EMR systems within healthcare organizations.
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the United States healthcare system and EMR requirements.
