Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for exceeding sales revenue goals, developing and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company's current customer base, and developing and maintaining professional selling skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting and connecting with businesses that require audiovisual presentation and training systems, audio and videoconferencing systems, collaboration technology, digital signage, esports and other related systems and services including maintenance and training;
  • Working with sales management and the design & engineering team to design, quote and present appropriate audiovisual solutions that meet the client’s needs, and Branch AV equipment and technical standards;
  • Close sales opportunities and secure profitable sales, installation and services contracts;
  • Responding to audiovisual RFPs and RFQs in as requested;
  • Work with Branch AV marketing personnel to develop and execute sales collateral and market awareness programs appropriate for the esports, education, corporate, enterprise, professional services and other potential clients;
  • Seek out and engage in appropriate manufacturer and industry training as directed;
  •  Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients;
  • Coordinate with Operations team to ensure project/client requirements are communicated clearly and be involved as necessary to support the successful delivery of projects.
  • Stay on top of client accounts, making sure they’re receiving services and meeting their needs
  • Enter and maintain accurate client records on company software systems.
  • Keep track of any contract updates and renewals
  • Uphold the good standing and reputation of Branch AV in the business community by delivering responsive, client focused customer sales and service while interacting with honesty and integrity.

 

Accountability/Reporting

The Account Manager will report to the Partners. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, employees, and customers of the company.


Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
  • Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers including Microsoft software
  • Experience with sales software is an asset
  • AVIXA CTS certification is an asset.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must have or be able to qualify for Government Security clearance.


Travel

Travel as required or directed to Branch AV offices, trade shows, manufacturer/distributor events and customer meetings.
