This role is for our client via Vaco (Vendor company) for client. This role is Remote in Montreal, Canada. Must live in Montreal area.

As a Merchandising Associate you will execute Google Play's store operations with a focus on 'Games Special Projects'. In this role, you will research, curate and create compelling content collections, as well as execute store campaigns and initiatives; working closely with other merchandising teams and cross-functional teams. You will build and maintain content publishing schedules and use internal tools to update the relevant store, in addition to building and maintaining operational programs for merchandising initiatives, using internal tools and working with cross-functional teams as appropriate. You will also provide analytics support and performance reporting for key programs and campaigns. Lastly, you will test and provide feedback on current and upcoming tools and solutions and will operationally support ad hoc merchandising initiatives as required (which may fall outside of specific focus areas stated above.)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Google Play Games's store content refreshes, such as updating weekly collections and banners.
  • Maintain store operational calendars and publish content
  • Operationally support data analysis by collating relevant metrics and creating reports. ● Optimize Google Play's store merchandising based on analytics.
  • Write and/or edit copy for collections and editorial content
  • Adapt relevant global and cross platform campaigns and operationally support the implementation of Google Play Games seasonal campaigns.
  • Research new and trending [games], and test [games] for quality.
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional and international team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Strong interest in mobile games and understanding of landscape.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management and analytical skills.
  • Familiar with digital content management systems.
  • Strong written & verbal English language skills, as well ability to write / edit copy English [native-like fluency language].
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative working approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
