We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Business Analyst to join our Finance and Operations team, specializing in Project Management Capture. In this critical role, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and translating them into actionable project plans to enhance operational efficiency and drive financial performance. Tapping into your expertise in finance and operations, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture requirements, find opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that align with our strategic objectives. As a key contributor to our project management initiatives, you will be tasked with capturing vital project insights, assessing risks, and ensuring that project achievements are met within established timelines and budgets.

In this role, you will
  • Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for complex projects.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project management strategies in F&O.
  • Provide expert insights and solutions as a Business Analyst in the Capture domain.
  • Use MySQL to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using HTML CSS and JavaScript.
  • Manage and optimize databases using MS Access.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.

What you'll need to succeed (required skills)

  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in Finance and Operations of Project Management.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills as a Business Analyst in the Capture domain.
  • Must be proficient in MySQL for data management and analysis.
  • Must have hands-on experience with HTML CSS and JavaScript for web development.
  • Must be skilled in using MS Access for database management.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client OR Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
