OSIS Medical Ltd. Is an Ontario-based distributor of premium surgical microscopes with applications in Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Dental, and Plastics & Reconstructive applications. 


The Sales Associate will report directly to the National Sales Manager. The position is for full-time employment, residing in the Oshawa area, covering all of Ontario. This role is available immediately.


Responsibilities


  • Support the National Sales Manager with account activity – mostly in the province of Ontario
  • Assisting with the sales process
  • Installation of microscopes/medical equipment
  • Clinical support for clinical trials
  • Clinical support for post-sales activities including in-servicing of staff
  • Creating quotations for sales team across the country
  • Prospecting new sales opportunities by visiting and cold calling hospital and clinics
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Meeting with customers to understand needs
  • Seeking opportunities to increase sales
  • Developing new sales strategies
  • Providing solutions to consumer concerns
  • Updating CRM


Requirements


  • Sales experience not mandatory as we are seeking highly motivated and driven individuals looking to grow with the company
  • 1+ years of related experience in medical/surgical sales an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and a focus on customer service
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess a vehicle – travel requirements of ~2,000km per month
  • Travel away from home base 3-5 nights per month but can vary
  • Physically capable of lifting 50lbs
  • Comfortable with tools and conducting in field diagnosis and repairs of medical equipment
