Our Client, a Global Legal Service Company, is looking for a Legal Editor to join their team REMOTELY

Pay: $43/hour Canadian

Start Date: 4/24

***This Is A 6 Contract Open Conversion or Extention***

As the Legal Editor you will test the outputs from a Large Language Model (LLM) that is being tested for the creation of AI generated draft French Canadian legal content, including memos and briefs; summaries of French Canadian legal content types, including opinions and statues; and research answers.

Responsibilities

  • Excel and other tools, a portion of the work will involve creating inputs/prompts for an LLM and analyzing outputs from the model for model training.
  • outputs for specific legal content against a set of required elements.
  • editors may also be asked to evaluate the accuracy of both the summary, answer, and draft content and any statutory rules or case citations contained within the output. For both tasks, editors will be required to provide assessment rating feedback and to provide additional feedback commentary as necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

  • degree required.
  • to 5 years’ litigation experience
  • legal research and legal analysis skills in addition to high degree of familiarity with French Canada legal content/documents
  • requirement: Candidate must be able to read, write and speak French Canadian and English proficiently. - Written assessment must be attached at the time of submittal as well as conversational fluency will be assessed during hiring process.
  • to learn quickly and to work in an agile manner, shifting/pivoting to new assignments as needed.
  • have working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
