About Our Client:

Our client is a renowned law firm located in downtown Ottawa, known for their excellence in corporate/commercial & residential real estate law. They specialize in a range of corporate real estate matters including wills and estates, residential purchases, mortgages, financing, real estate litigation, and more. The firm values collaboration, professionalism, and dedication to providing exceptional legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of corporate commercial real estate matters, including wills and estates, residential purchases, mortgages, financing, real estate litigation, and related areas.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on complex real estate transactions and disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and research on real estate matters.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience practicing corporate commercial real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations in Ontario.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
