Your new role
As the Director of Land Development, you will report to Senior Leadership and be responsible for all land development for the company. In this bilingual French/English environment, you will work with clients and municipalities to track and follow up on projects in both Quebec and Ontario. Projects are chiefly Residential in nature, neighbourhoods and multifamily buildings. There will be Commercial projects as well in the future.
You will manage project schedules, prepare contracts and collaborate on many key initiatives. Working with various trades and consultants, tendering and awarding contracts will be a regular part of your day.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this vital role, you must have post-secondary education in Civil Construction/Engineering. You should be fluently bilingual in French and English and have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally with strong local knowledge of the Outaouais and National Capital Region.
You should also have strong IT skills, CAD and similar. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well in this close-knit office environment.

Votre nouveau rôle
En tant que directeur de l'aménagement des terrains, vous relèverez de la haute direction et serez responsable de l'ensemble de l'aménagement des terrains pour l'entreprise. Dans cet environnement bilingue français/anglais, vous travaillerez avec les clients et les municipalités pour assurer le suivi des projets au Québec et en Ontario. Les projets sont principalement de nature résidentielle, des quartiers et des immeubles multifamiliaux. Il y aura également des projets commerciaux dans le futur.
Vous gérerez les calendriers des projets, préparerez les contrats et collaborerez à de nombreuses initiatives clés. Vous travaillerez avec différents corps de métier et consultants, et les appels d'offres et l'attribution des contrats feront partie de votre quotidien.
Ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir
Pour être considéré pour ce poste essentiel, vous devez avoir fait des études postsecondaires en construction civile ou en génie civil. Vous devez être parfaitement bilingue en français et en anglais et avoir plus de cinq ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire, idéalement avec une bonne connaissance de l'Outaouais et de la région de la capitale nationale.
Vous devez également posséder de solides compétences en informatique, en CAO et dans d'autres domaines similaires. Vous devez posséder de solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles pour bien travailler dans cet environnement de bureau très uni.
