Architectural Technologist

elle3 design & interiors inc. is a residential design company focusing on single family dwelling building projects including renovations, additions, and new homes. We offer design services including interior design, architectural design, and permit coordination.

We are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join our team. This person is required to have a diploma from a certified Architectural / Construction Technologist program and must have experience using and applying Ontario Building Code to part 9 buildings. This person will work directly with our designers to measure homes, create Revit models, and execute structural drawings. This person will be responsible for all permit-related research and coordination with municipalities.

Site measures and visits to projects will be required; the candidates must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle.

This person must be proficient in Revit LT and the Microsoft suite. This person must be able to accurately prepare working 3D models for projects. It is an asset to have some experience in Lumion or similar rendering software. All candidates must have practical experience using Ontario Building Code and experience preparing structural drawings.

The position is 4 days per week in person, in Waterloo office. Fridays are flexible. Minimum of 34 hours per week. A driver's license and vehicle are required.
