We are constantly growing and looking for an organized IoT Solutions Engineering Specialist to join our team in Toronto.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Guide employees and customers on how to use Teltonika Telematics devices and solutions (consult, provide training);
- Solve technical issues and look for ways to reduce them;
- Prepare technical documentation and technical tasks;
- Assess customer needs for new features, raise proposals for their implementation and supervise the implementation process;
- Participate in direct communication with clients to answer technical questions through conference calls and visits
- Perform quality assurance tasks before providing the solution to a customer
WE BELIEVE THAT YOU:
We hope you are responsible, demonstrate logical thinking, are interested in technology, and enjoy working in a team
- Technical education (Electronic/Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering);
- Basics of telecommunication systems and IOT technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, ability to explain GNSS technology fundamentals;
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems;
- Good communication skills;
- Capability to prepare technical documentation;
- Experience working with IoT solutions (1-Wire, RS-232/RS-485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS, CAN automobile, OBD automobile) and secure Cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure) would be an advantage;
- Hands-on technical experience working with Telematics solutions for at least 1 year is a significant asset
