Job brief

We are scouting for a dynamic Full Stack Developer to enrich our team. Your forte will be in crafting seamless user interfaces with React, managing state with Redux, and building robust desktop applications using Electron-Vite. You’ll be instrumental in developing solutions that communicate over MQTT and crafting high-quality APIs with AWS services.


As a central player in our development team, you'll be tasked with creating from the ground up and enhancing our existing applications to push the envelope in our industry. We invite you to bring your expertise to our collaborative environment where innovation thrives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop user interfaces with React, utilizing Redux for state management to create responsive, scalable applications.
  • Harness the power of Electron-Vite to build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications.
  • Integrate MQTT protocols for real-time messaging in IoT and other network applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable JavaScript code for a wide range of application layers.
  • Build and maintain APIs using AWS services, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into technical implementation.
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Document development processes, code, and version updates.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them to operations and activities.


Requirements and skills

  • Reside in the Montreal, Quebec (Canada) areas or Washington, DC areas.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a portfolio that includes React and Redux implementations.
  • Experience with Electron-Vite for building and optimizing cross-platform desktop applications.
  • Solid understanding of MQTT and its application in messaging and communication.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, with a record of building efficient, scalable, and accessible APIs.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture for API integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
