You are an energetic professional with prior sales experience and a gift for the gab. You love international travel, ooze interpersonal prowess, and take pride in leaving others with a smile after they speak with you. You are solution orientated and keep customers front-and-centre in everything you do. You like working in a positive sales environment and thrive when facing new challenges. You are willing to dive headfirst to ensure success and want your work to have impact. You are comfortable in a fast-paced, “all-hands on deck” environment, and can coordinate tasks across multiple initiatives while driving results.

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Sales & Travellers Champion Team Leader, you will play a critical role in creating positive interactions across all our communication channels (phone, social and e-mail). You will be responsible for managing your leads through the entire sales process, from initial contact to booking conversion. We believe that being successful in sales begins with being a customer champion. In this role, you will be responsible for:


Championing customer interactions

As part of a close-knit team, you will be the face of the company and the point-person for sales and customer interactions. You will:

  • Oversee the entire sales process from initial interest through to final payment, including pursuing all sales opportunities and follow-up activities
  • Make outbound calls to new or existing customers, and follow-up with active inquiries to provide a complete experience to any customer who contacts us
  • Respond to customer inquiries (website forms, Facebook messages, chat messages and phone calls), engage with early adopters to answer questions and build loyalty from day one
  • Track new leads and participate in the maintenance of the CRM database to ensure accurate, clean and consistent data capture


Championing customer happiness

  • Establish a special connection with past and potential customers and identify and understand their travel needs
  • Provide a superior level of customer service through accurate and timely information on destinations and inclusions
  • Participate in preparing customers for their upcoming adventure
  • Proactively anticipate future customer desires through the promotion of our strong value proposition, tour experience and supporting products
  • Be positive and open to continually enhance the team experience in every way

Requirements

  • College degree
  • Minimum 3 years of inbound and outbound sales and customer service experience
  • Fluent proficiency in English - French is an asset
