Seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Loan Originator based in Calgary, Alberta to originate $100-200M annually throughout Canada. Experience with CMHC, multi-family, industrial, retail and office properties are required. Looking for a credit background along with existing or ability to establish new developer clients. Peakhill provides bridge, construction and long term financing focused on loans $5-50M throughout Canada. Must be a licensed mortgage agent in Alberta or real estate agent.


Success in this role requires:

  • Achieving sales results through providing advice and solutions to clients
  • Proactively seeking business opportunities and new customers through relationship building
  • Performing due diligence on all underwriting-related documentation
  • Being a driven, self-starter, problem-solver, and organized great communicator.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Originator and a Mortgage Agent License.


Skills and Qualifications:

• Entrepreneurial attitude, highly motivated

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• In-depth understanding of the commercial real estate capital markets

• Work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners

• Maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision

• Bachelor’s degree recommended, preferred major in Real Estate, Finance or Economics
