Snow Plow Driver

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Snow Plow Driver will work from either the Kemptville or Johnstown yard(s) by completing various snow removal tasks.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Operate the plow equipment, spreader and/or tow plow ensuring the assigned route is adequately and safely plowed
- Respond to winter events and adapting to any hazardous situations
- Operate front-end loader to load material (salt/sand) into spreader
- Conduct general maintenance and visual inspection of the vehicle.
- Maintain an accurate logbook and conducts pre & post trip inspections, reporting defects or calibration concerns
- Complete paperwork accurately, recording material usage, time, kilometres and location.
Position Requirements :
- A valid AZ or DZ license is required
- Manual transmission experience is preferred
- Min. 1 year of professional truck driving experience
- AZ-DZ or bus-driving School graduates will also be considered.
- Clean driving record and CVOR abstract required
- On-the-job plow training is provided for this role
- Must be available days, evenings, nights, weekends
