Business Analyst

Overview:Risus is hiring a Business Analyst to join our largest client, a leader in Sustainable Packaging Solutions The Business Analyst reports to the location Business Intelligence Manager with direct responsibilities focused on strategic business analysis, new process development, and driving technological advancements for various departments in support of our corporate goals and objectives. This will include the cataloging and documentation of current business processes and sub-processes to discover inefficiencies. The Business Analyst will also be required to liaise with internal leaders to evaluate and re-engineer processes and sub-processes as necessary for determining and meeting the company's technology plans. As such, this individual will act as the main liaison between the IT department and the company’s business units.Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities & quantifiable measurements)Conduct detailed analysis to identify problems, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in business processes and technology.Perform data analysis and generate reports to support business initiatives and decision-making.Collaborate with stakeholders to refine business requirements, develop new procedures, and manage relationships with technology partners and vendors.Provide consultative and technical support to executives and decision-making groups.Design, develop, and distribute procedures and training for new processes in both technical and user-friendly formats.Manage research databases, conduct system requirements testing, assist in defining business requirements, and support IT staff with technical reports and database management.Requirements:Bachelors Degree or Equivalent work experienceDirect work experience as a business analystExperience analyzing and modeling business, technical, and process requirementsUnderstanding of common BI tools and systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills
