The Home2 Suites par Hilton Montréal Dorval is looking for a Hotel Maintenance Manager to take care of the hotel’s infrastructure (e.g. buildings, electricity.) In this role, you should be organized and proactive. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is essential. Your goal will be to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.


Responsibilities

·        Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards

·        Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, pool and fitness center)

·        Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests

·        Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)

·        Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy

·        Manage relationships with contractors and service providers

·        Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs

Requirements

·        In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations

·        Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems

·        Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, preventive maintenance program)

·        Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly

·        Problem-solving aptitude

·        Excellent organizational and leadership skills

·        High school diploma or equivalent and any proven related job experience

Les Home2 Suites par Hilton Montréal Dorval est à la recherche d'un responsable pour s'occuper de l'infrastructure de l'hôtel (p. Ex. Bâtiments, électricité). Dans ce rôle, vous devrez être organisé et proactif. La connaissance des systèmes électriques, de plomberie et de ventilation est essentielle. Si vous êtes également déterminé à respecter les normes de santé et de sécurité, nous aimerions vous rencontrer.


Votre objectif sera de faire en sorte que nos lieux soient sûrs et fonctionnels pour les clients et les employés.

 

Responsabilités

• Inspecter régulièrement l'hôtel pour s'assurer qu'il répond aux normes de sécurité

• Organiser l'entretien de routine dans les chambres d'hôtel, les halls et les installations (par exemple, les cuisines, la piscine et la salle d’exercice)

• Organiser les projets de réparation d'une manière qui ne dérange pas les invités

• Agir rapidement pour résoudre les problèmes urgents (par exemple les pannes de courant)

• Trouver des moyens de réduire les coûts d'exploitation de l'hôtel et de conserver l'énergie

• Gérer les relations avec les entrepreneurs et les fournisseurs de services

• Maintenir les budgets, les dépenses et les journaux d'activité

 

Exigences

• Connaissance approfondie des réglementations en matière de santé et de sécurité

• Connaissance des systèmes de plomberie, d'électricité, d'égout et de ventilation;

• Expérience dans les processus administratifs (par exemple, budgétisation, programme de maintenance préventive)

• Capacité de repérer les risques de la sécurité et de répondre rapidement aux besoins

• Aptitude à résoudre des problèmes

• Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de leadership

• Diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent ainsi que toute expérience de travail connexe sera un atout
