The Position:

The Manager of Investments and Asset Management will play a critical role in overseeing the investment portfolio and optimizing the performance of assets within the real estate group. This individual will be responsible for executing investment strategies, conducting financial analysis, and implementing asset management initiatives to enhance value and achieve targeted returns.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with the company's objectives, including acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to assess investment opportunities and risks.
  • Evaluate potential real estate acquisitions, including underwriting financial projections, assessing market trends, and conducting property valuations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to structure and negotiate transactions, including purchase agreements, financing arrangements, and joint venture partnerships.
  • Manage the asset portfolio, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing value-enhancing initiatives to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, performance reports, and investment memorandums to support decision-making and communicate investment performance to stakeholders.
  • Lead asset management activities, including lease negotiations, property repositioning, capital improvement projects, and disposition strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with investors, lenders, brokers, and other industry stakeholders to source investment opportunities and support business development efforts.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate industry to inform investment strategies and mitigate risks.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.


What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investments, asset management, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful transactions and portfolio management.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools; experience with real estate investment software (e.g., ARGUS) is a plus.
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of the role.
