Job Summary:

Mimi’s Rock, Inc. is a subsidiary of FitLife Brands, Inc., a publicly traded company listed on NASDAQ (ticker: FTLF). FitLife Brands, Inc. provides nutritional supplements for health-conscious consumers in the United States, Canada and internationally.


The Financial Analyst role provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the Financial Analyst directly assists on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to financial governance, including preparation of financial reports and support for FitLife Brands, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the financial operations of the business through the preparation and input of month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Anticipate evolving financial needs and work with cross-functional teams to build efficient processes
  • Assist the business in identifying financial risks and opportunities
  • Prepare and present weekly financial analyses
  • Assist with quarter-end and year-end audit
  • Prepare and provide invoices and account statements to wholesale customers
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of GST/HST tax returns
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, analyses and other duties as assigned to support strategic decision making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting
  • Related experience in data analytics, management reporting, financial planning, and analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup and other excel formulas
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial functions
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and GST/HST; knowledge of IFRS reporting would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work with large data sets and present findings in a clear, concise manner 
  • Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet firm deadlines
