Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their rapidly growing organization. Reporting to the Chief Estimator, this role offers a unique opportunity to apply your costing and estimating skills on a diverse range of projects


.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the completion of complex bid processes.
  • Interpret client contracts and analyze complex drawings and specifications.
  • Assemble accurate, well-organized estimates on time.
  • Support databases including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, operations, and other project team members.
  • Monitor project success throughout, noting potential challenges.
  • Build relationships with sub-trades and clients for future opportunities.


  • Profile Requirements:
  • Proven experience (2-10 years) in estimating or a related field within the construction industry.
  • Experience within the fireproofing industry is considered anasset.
  • Proficient ability to understand tender specifications and documentation.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and re-prioritize as necessary.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficient English-language skills, French bilingualism considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and Canadian residency and/or work permit.
