As a member of the Engineering Services team and reporting to the Mechatronics Software Team Leader, your main mandate will be to ensure the definition, implementation and validation of the OTA (over-the-air) software update system for the various electronic modules (ECUs) of BRP vehicles.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate in the definition of component requirements for the OTA solution and its architecture
Select appropriate technologies to meet project needs;
Initiate and conduct reviews of proposed OTA system solutions;
Design and develop test cases to validate proposed concepts;
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or robotics with software expertise;
Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience;
Oral and written bilingualism (French/English); Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis;
Experience in OTA system design;
Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture, memory configurations, device drivers, compiler and debugger;
Practical experience of UDS, CAN and Ethernet protocols an asset;
Significant knowledge of C and C++ programming languages, as well as scripting languages such as Python;
