Combined position for a Truck Driver-Winter Patrolman (5 months per year) and also a Labourer (7 months per year).

Workplaces: Plantagenet (Winter) and Embrun (Summer)

Schedule: 40 hours/week (flexible hours during the winter)

Closing date: 4:00 p.m., October 10, 2024

Requirements:

High school diploma.

Ability to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing).

Own a valid class “DZ” driver’s license.

Must be able to get to the garage within 30 minutes following the foreman’s call.

Assets:

Experience in welding and/or mechanical repair.

WHMIS, St. John Ambulance or tire installation courses.

One year of experience with snowplow and as a salt and sand spreader operator.

Two years of experience in road construction and maintenance.

A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
