ABOUT THE COMPANY:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Gameplay Programmer to join a leading remote game studio, known for working on exciting games that you grew up wanting to play


As a Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for creating new systems and mechanics by having the opportunity to work on multiple aspects of the game. This full-time remote role requires a minimum of 5 years' industry experience, expertise in Unreal or Bespoke C++ Engines.


Remote employees must reside in Quebec or Ontario.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement features to ensure a high-quality gaming experience
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, maintaining project timelines
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships to align technical decisions with the project vision
  • Ability to write efficient and maintainable code
  • Architect, plan, and implement new game features and systems


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of games industry experience, with proficiency in C++ and Console development
  • Genuine passion for making and playing video games
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to collaboration
  • Experience in developing gameplay, tools and/or engine systems


Desired Skills:

  • A keen interest in RPG Game
  • Unreal Engine Experience
