Industrial Designer (Motorcycle/Bicycle) (Junior / Intern)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the generation, refinement, and enhancement of design themes aligned with product aspirations and vision.
  • Provide innovative design solutions to overcome production challenges, ensuring exceptional motorcycle and bicycle concepts.
  • Create high-quality design visuals suitable for senior presentations.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to seamlessly integrate technological advancements into designs while balancing aesthetics and functionality.
  • Focus on meticulous design detail and functionality throughout the motorcycle and bicycle, ensuring a harmonious and user-centric experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative features into designs.


Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in product design, industrial design, or related field.
  • Exceptional 3D modeling skills in SolidWorks, Inventor, Blender, or similar software, demonstrating mastery of digital sculpting, surfacing techniques, and creating realistic and visually appealing design presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills to effectively convey design concepts to R&D and production teams.
  • Ability to translate instructions and measurements into 3D models, layouts, drawings, and designs.
  • Adaptability to quickly respond to changes in design specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and a collaborative team player.
  • Portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills across diverse design projects.
  • Interest or experience in automotive, motorcycle, and electric vehicles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel and stay in APAC, primarily Taiwan and Cambodia (travel expenses covered by the employer).
  • Interest in motorcycles, possessing a motorcycle license is advantageous.
  • Experience or willingness to work with an international team.
