At Salisbury Electronic we do installation and repairs for internet and satellite TV services. We also sell and install cell phone boosters, secure networking and wireless infrastructure such as Point-to-Point (P2P).

About the Role:

As a Satellite Technician/Installer contractor, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining satellite systems for our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work independently. If you have experience in Ethernet, telecommunication, low voltage, routers, electrical work, computer networking, telephone systems, and mechanical knowledge, we want to hear from you. Also we are willing to train the right candidate if you have the ability to climb ladders and use mobile apps, and drive around NB

Office Responsibilities:

• Climbing ladders, sometimes maybe more than 32ft.
• Receiving inventory with our inventory app, and moving into your truck.
• Organizing the office space on less busy days
• Returning used/used equipment into shipping boxes
• Print work-orders
• Help with monthly inventory

Daily Off-site Responsibilities:

• Driving work truck to customers houses listed on work order
• Install and configure satellite systems according to customer specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with satellite equipment or connections
• Conduct site surveys to determine the best location for satellite installation
• Collaborate with customers to ensure their needs are met and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs by closing work orders with mobile app
• Climbing ladders, sometimes maybe more than 32ft.
• rain, snow or sunshine

Qualifications:

No formal education required, willing to train the right candidate. Of course, if you have experience we pay more.

Required Skills:

Drivers licence, and experience driving around New Brunswick

Must know how to climb a ladder safely.

Pay range and compensation package:

This contract position pays depending on experience.

15-25$ per hour.

Part-time to start (for those who need training), then full-time potential.
