Who You Are

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role, focusing on web development.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in TypeScript, Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, and AI integrations (e.g., OpenAI/Gemini).
  • Experience building complex web/mobile applications with deep knowledge across frontend, backend, and databases.
  • UI/UX Familiarity: Ability to deliver a clean, modern user experience.
  • Strategic Thinker: You’re a creative problem-solver who brings new ideas to the table.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent communication skills, adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Humility & Openness: You take your work seriously (but not yourself), welcome feedback, and value the best solutions—wherever they originate.


What You’ll Do

  • Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain our web application using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, among other technologies.
  • Collaborative Delivery: Work alongside product, design, and leadership teams to ship high-quality software iteratively and quickly.
  • Champion Best Practices: Review code, set standards, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide strategic input to product and design, influencing platform direction.
  • Cloud Services: Utilize AWS, Vercel, and similar tools for data storage, AI infrastructure, and backend services.
  • Agile Mindset: Operate comfortably in an agile environment with rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
  • AI Integration: Enhance platform functionality with AI models such as OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek & Vision Models.

Bonus Points

  • Video Processing & Storage: Experience with video-related solutions.
  • Computer Vision: Hands-on experience deploying/fine-tuning real-time computer vision models.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: CAD $130,000 – $160,000 + Equity
  • Time Off: 10–15 days of PTO, plus recognized holidays
