Introduction

We are currently looking for a Millwright (Mill) to join our client’s team in Timmins, Ontario. Reporting to a Supervisor of Maintenance, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fixed equipment, performing mechanical installations and conductive preventative maintenance.


Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of fixed equipment such as compressors, pumps, conveyors, fans, hydraulics, pneumatics, crushers, and piping.
  • Mechanical installations and troubleshooting of maintenance systems.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
  • working with maintenance programs, computer maintenance management systems and maintenance practices/procedures.
  • working safely in confined spaces, at heights and near open holes.


Requirements

  • Certificate of Qualification as Millwright (red seal).
  • An all-position CWB welding certification or the ability to be trained.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Complete or have recently completed CAAT and DAT testing in a satisfactory manner.
