Votre rôle et responsabilités

En tant que Développeur front-end senior, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la conception et le développement d'applications d’entreprise frontales qui s'appuient sur les normes IBM (telles que Carbon Design), les plates-formes et les technologies, et qui ravissent les utilisateurs grâce à des expériences interactives exceptionnelles.


Le Développeur Front-end Senior Est Orienté Client Et Axé Sur Les Résultats, Avec Des Responsabilités Qui Incluent

  • Design, développement et maintien des applications d’entreprise frontales à la fois innovantes, conviviales, performantes et évolutives.
  • Piloter la création de designs CX/UX avec Figma, transformant les visions en expériences intuitives et esthétiques qui répondent aux besoins complexes des utilisateurs.
  • Participer aux ateliers de cocréation avec des équipes variées, stimulant l'innovation et alignant le design et développement sur les objectifs du client et les attentes des utilisateurs.
  • Participer aux activités et projets de recherche et développement expérimental pour accroître nos connaissances et compétences, développer et améliorer nos méthodologies, et élaborer des offres de solutions et services SIA.
  • Offrir l’encadrement technique aux projets et aux équipes.
  • Fournir un soutien prévente à l'équipe marketing et ventes de SIA (saisir les besoins des clients, répondre aux appels d’offres, développer des propositions et des plans de projet, faire des présentations et des démonstrations, diriger des POC, etc.).
  • Participer activement aux médias sociaux et à d'autres occasions de réseautage pour promouvoir votre marque et notre entreprise (y compris des messages et des articles sur les pages vitrines).


Expertise technique et professionnelle requise

Les candidats idéals possèdent le profil, les connaissances et l’expérience suivants :

  • Méthodes d'ingénierie client incluant Agile
  • Outils de conception (Figma), langages de développement (React, NodeJS, SQL) et API/services web (SOAP, REST)
  • Solides compétences dans le développement, le test et la documentation d'applications cloud natives
  • Expérience avec les normes et plateformes IBM (Carbon Design, Cloud Pak for Applications, WebSphere Application Server)
  • Familiarité avec les technologies et déploiements cloud, en particulier Kubernetes et Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Solides capacités de leadership, de communications, d’empathie et un esprit de croissance.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français.
  • Curiosité (explorateur), créativité et compétences organisationnelles.

  • Emploi permanent à temps plein en présentiel (bureau au centre-ville de Montréal).
  • Doit être résident de la région de Montréal et avoir l’autorisation de travailler au Canada.

Senior Front-end Developer

Your role and responsibilities

As Senior Front-end Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing CX/UX front-end applications that leverage IBM standards (such as Carbon Design), platforms and technologies, delighting users with exceptional interactive experiences.


The Senior Front-end Developer is customer-focused and results-driven, with responsibilities that include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining front-end enterprise applications that are innovative, user-friendly, performant, and scalable.
  • Leading CX/UX design using Figma, transforming visions into intuitive and aesthetic experiences that meet complex user needs.
  • Participating in co-creation workshops with diverse teams, stimulating innovation and aligning design and development with client objectives and user expectations.
  • Participating in continuous learning, research and experimental development activities and projects to increase our knowledge and skills, develop and improve our methodologies, and create new SIA solutions and service offerings.
  • Providing technical support to projects and teams.
  • Providing pre-sales support to SIA's marketing & sales team (capture customer needs, respond to RFPs, develop proposals and project plans, make presentations and demonstrations, lead POCs, etc.).
  • Actively participating in social media and other networking opportunities to promote your brand and our company (including posts and articles on showcase pages).


Technical and professional expertise required

Ideal candidates will possess the following profile, knowledge and experience:

  • Client engineering methods including Agile
  • DevOps processes & tools (e.g., CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, etc.),
  • Design tools (Figma), development languages (Java, NodeJS, SQL) and APIs/web services (SOAP, REST)
  • Strong skills in developing, testing and documenting cloud-native applications
  • Experience with IBM standards and platforms (Carbon Design, Cloud Pak for Applications, WebSphere Application Server)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployments, particularly Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Strong leadership, communications, empathy and growth mindset.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Curiosity (explorer), creativity and organizational skills.

  • Permanent, full-time, face-to-face position (office located in downtown Montreal).
  • Must be a resident of the Montreal area and have authorization to work in Canada.
  • Must be available for occasional travel in Canada, the U.S. and the Caribbean - for customer projects, conferences and training.
