Our Client, a leading Food Manufacturing Company, is seeking an accomplished hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Supervise a team of (4) direct reports, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing hands-on support when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve skills and knowledge.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in maintenance.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor in the Food Industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food manufacturing.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certification in maintenance management or related field or 433 Millwright license
  • Experience with preventative maintenance software systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
