Software Engineer (Angular / C#)

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Senior Angular Developer with experience with Angular/C#, messaging applications with large amounts of data, and strong SQL programming skills to place at our client, a top Financial Institution.

  • Terms: 6-month contract rolling
  • Location: Hybrid Downtown Toronto
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week - Monday-Friday

The position is for a Senior Angular & C# developer with over 5+ years software development experience & 4+ years of angular with experience in building medium to large scale UIs and server side components.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending and participating in all Agile ceremonies
  • Working directly with Product owner on writing up user stories
  • Solutions design, development and unit testing
  • Software implementation and support
  • Working with various teams/groups in solution delivery

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong Angular skills and knowledge
  • Angular 4+ experience (experience with agGrid)
  • 2 years of C#/ .NET experience
  • Strong SQL Server skills
  • Experience with designing low latency applications
  • Knowledge and some experience with VB6 to .net

Nice to Have

  • Experience with message queuing – like IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ and Solace
