Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and organized professional to handle day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to process financial transactions efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

  • Process and post customer invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments received and outstanding balances.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collection efforts.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and distribute customer statements and invoices.


Accounts Payable:

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate approvals before payment.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and receiving documents.
  • Maintain vendor records and reconcile monthly statements.
  • Process employee expense reports and verify supporting documentation.
  • Monitor company credit card transactions and ensure proper reconciliation.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end closing tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial transactions.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable functions.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Jonas, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data entry).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle numerical data accurately.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
