PACS Administrator (Part-Time, Permanent)

Hours:

Tours as per schedule


Salary: $39.09 - $48.44/ hourly


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technology.
  • Current CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) registration required
  • Imaging Informatics Certificate (or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a registered Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced hospital applications including PACS, PowerScribe, and NEODIN (troubleshooting, routine maintenance, technical support etc.)
  • Familiarity with ISCV, EPIC, CASE, WTIS, MUSE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality
  • Demonstrated understanding of Medical Imaging clinical processes and the different modalities, how they function and interact/interface with one another
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong member of the interdisciplinary team
  • Physically able to perform the duties within the physical demands of the work area: constant standing and/or walking, occasional heavy physical effort required such as lifting equipment; frequent interruptions
