We are seeking a experienced and motivated Project Associate to join our growing Restoration team in Cambridge


Edison specializes in the repair and restoration of existing buildings, providing communication-focused professional engineering and project management services.


As a Restoration Associate, you will be responsible for site reviews and assessments, various restoration reports, construction oversight, and client & contractor communication. You will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and site contractors to ensure our clients’ restoration projects are completed on time and within budget.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site inspections and investigations to assess building conditions and identify areas of concern
  • Performing structural analysis and design of repair and restoration solutions
  • Preparing technical reports and project specifications
  • Collaborating with team members, clients, and contractors to develop project plans and schedules
  • Ensuring projects are completed on-time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Providing technical support during construction and performing field observations to ensure quality control
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in building repair and restoration engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge in structural analysis and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
