JOB SUMMARY


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Red Prairie & System Integration, the Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME, is responsible for researching and documenting system integration specifications for requested changes to Accuristix applications. The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will provide detailed specifications related to the change requested to either or all, the system architecture, the development staff and testing staff.They will also be responsible for the overall activity, performance, direction, development, interfaces, and coordination of 3rd party development of the WMS and TMS systems including the interfaces between the OMS, WMS & TMS but not limited to.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will collaborate with business partners to understand and document requirements for new systems and enhancements, including identifying business needs, assessing the impact on existing systems and processes, and translating requirements into Functional / Technical specifications.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME is responsible for the analysis and documentation of changes as they relate to systems with the WMS and TMS and the interfaces being the focus when changes are required. The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME is required to quickly understand business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry. The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will review and edit requirement specifications, business process and recommendations related to proposed solutions.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will review company projects submitted within the in-house change management system, to determine the impact on Accuristix applications with a primary focus on WMS & TMS systems and and the interfaces between these two systems and the OMS.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will be responsible for WMS & TMS helpdesk tickets escalated by the Supervisor, Help Desk.

The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will manage the relationship with the WMS & TMS vendor and their approved partners.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will provide leadership and direction on the WMS & TMS and its interfaces and be the primary subject matter expert.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will oversee, support, and execute all interface testing during client migration; implementation of new clients, system enhancements / new developments. The System Integration, Tecsys SME will be responsible for creating and maintaining system documentation.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will be responsible for ensuring the system is set up to support the client and operational requirements.

The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will use SQL to extract and analyze data from databases, including writing simple queries to retrieve data from a single table and performing basic data manipulation, such as filtering, sorting, and grouping.


The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will utilize knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS), transportation Management System (TMS), database concepts, and 3PL industry to solve business problems, including managing inventory, transportation, and logistics operations.

The Business Analyst - System Integration, Tecsys SME will learn and understand the company's applications and business processes.


The System Integration, Tecsys SME will be required to create and maintain technical and functional documentation, including business requirement documents, use cases, process flows, and system architecture diagrams.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for the roll out of the WMS, TMS, Integration between required systems and changes to the OMS across all clients and buildings
  • Communicate with internal teams and clients around project timelines and initiatives.
  • Work with SME’s to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
  • Liaison with development on defects if required. May include outside consultants and/or Vendors.
  • Communicate with different departments to solicit feedback on project activities.
  • Provide weekly/ monthly updates on progress of projects.
  • Provide problem solving and innovative solutions to organizational bottlenecks.
  • Complete projects on time being mindful of budget and resources.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the project budget across people, development, and consultants.
  • Schedule meetings and gain the support of supervisors and managers prior to the implementation of new or changed procedures.
  • Research and document system integration specifications for requested changes to Accuristix applications.

  • Learn and understand the company's applications and business processes, including providing training and support to end-users.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written format to leadership within the organization and with clients.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite and MS Project with an in-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems and or ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to use industry experience, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and imagination to identify and implement solutions to resolve issues.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Level 1 SQL experience, including the ability to write simple SQL queries to retrieve data from a single table.
  • Familiarity with SQL data types, such as integer, string, date, and time, understanding of basic SQL syntax, including SELECT, FROM, WHERE GROUP BY, and ORDER BY clauses, and knowledge of SQL functions, such as COUNT, SUM, AVG, MAX, and MIN.
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience and Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
  • Level 3 helpdesk support experience
  • Tecsys experience (desirable)
  • 3PL experience, including knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation logistics
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry in the drugs sector an asset
  • Desirable experience in JavaScript/BarTender/Jasper Reports
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Operations and project management.
